Ruck N’ Wiz will be behind the decks during the Sneakerness in Zurich June 5th 2010.

Within the last few years, Ruck P and Wiz, two young and upcoming Djs from Biel-Bienne have been collecting a lot of experience on the turntables. Individually and as a group, they’ve gained a reputation as rock solid Hip Hop djs throughout their country of origin. They’re able to entertain all audiences from straight backpackers to a mainstream crowd.

With their first album they’re finally proving their skills not only on the turntables, but also on the MPC. The 14 self produced tracks feature international renowned artists as Masta Ace or Termanology and Prop Dylan from Sweden but also some of Switzerland’s finest as Nefew’s Polemikk, Manillio or Greis. With lots of love for fine details, the two producers got to create their unique sound over a period of several years. Inspired by the classic east coast esthetic, they’ve chopped unknown sample sources to rearrange those bits and pieces into something completely new. This led to a solid album which unites traditional influences and modern techniques.
