Last week we visited the Diadora Headquarter in Venice to take a tour of the recently reopened factory in Cearano di San Marco – home of the “Made in Italy” production. Following 15 years of inactivity the factory now employs a trained workforce in charge of creating Diadora’s most premium line of footwear. The workers channel all their concentration into the manufacturing process, taking their time to make sure everything is assembled to perfection.
“We are proud” states Enrico Moretti Polegato, President and Managing Director of Diadora “that we have succeeded not only in re-launching the company on the international scene in such a short period of time, but also in bringing part of our production back in-house. This decision allows us to fully exploit the know-how typical of our district in the design and development of sports shoes, and thus to meet the most demanding consumer’s needs for innovative products of the highest quality.”
For Autmun/Winter 2015 Diadora places its trust in its tried and true heritage with more general releases also being “Made in Italy”. The entire running catalogue will be re-issued with a high standard for quality to challenge the continuous flow of collaborations.
