Special Collaboration with Amsterdam sneaker store PATTA

PATTA Amsterdam is with it’s own stores and distribution one of the sneaker- and streetwear-institutions worldwide. The cooperation with PATTA is the ultimate crowning, because the “cool guys” from Amsterdam not only choose their partners precisely, but also just cooperating on the highest level within their genres. Collaborations are just execute selectively, the one with KangaROOS is one-of-a-kind. In this case PATTA decided a long-term cooperation for the first time to launch a product-development together. Always in focus of the USP of KangaROOS: “The Original Shoes with Pockets”.

Asics will step by Sneakerness with an Austria exclusive. Joining forces with 6th Floor they’ll present one of the comebacks of the year, bringing the Gel Saga II in two colorways to the “Ottakringer Brauerei” in Vienna. The Gel Saga II was launched in the US in 1990 and the following year in Japan. It was built to meet the demands of the US runner market looking for lightweight shoes. It has a really simple and clean design, so many runner ins Europe and USA loved the shoe.

Nike comes with their “From Waffle to Fuse” exhibition to Vienna. Showcasing the long history of Sneakers made for running. From the beginning in the late 70s to the high-end Fuse technology, the name says it all. You can also expect some sneak peaks at the new collection and some very limited Hyperfuse x PAAR IDs.

Element is one of the heavy weights, when it comes to Skate sneakers. So it comes to no surprise, that they will host their own skate contest, the “Element Drop Spot”, presented by Sneakerness and Viennese Skateboarding magazine Trottoir. Onitsuka Tiger by Asics

Asics feiert 2009 den 60sten Geburtstag mit einer eigenen Spezial-Kollektion: den Zodiac Sneakern. Die 12 Tiere des japanischen Horoskops bekommen ihre eigenen Sneaker. So hat etwa der holländische Comiczeichner Erik Kriekk einen Fabre designed, der sich dem Hasen widmet. Fesche Tiersneaker gibt es auch für Pferde, Schaf und AffenliebhaberInnen.

Dazu haben wir zwei exklusive Varianten des Mexico 66 Lauta, die in Österreich nur in ganz kleinen Stückzahlen erhältlich sind.

Adidas Originals

Das Zapateria Sneakerness Adidas Originals Line Up widmet sich zum größten Teil dem Thema Retro Running. Neben dem ZX in vielen Farb- und Materialvariationen haben wir auch ein Paar Micropacer am Start. Dieser Schuh aus den 80er Jahren hat einen kleinen LCD-Computer eingebaut, der jeden deiner Schritte zählt. Für alle Retroliebhaber haben wir noch etwas ganz Besonderes: Direkt aus Herzogenaurach kommen drei Adidas Museumssneaker eingeflogen.
