Patta and KangaROOS are proud to present the PxK Hiking Collection. This debut release from the on-going collaboration between us and the St. Louis-based brand involves redeveloped and retooled versions of the archived K2 and Woodhollow models. Both hiking boots have been reworked and updated by applying CORDURA® Nylon fabrics and premium leathers in winter ready colorways. Alongside the trademark KangaROOS pocket, all models also feature subtle detailing in the form of colored eyelets, rubber PxK tabs and double branding on the outsole and woven labels. In addition to the custom PxK packaging, the Woodhollow models also include a double branded Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife.

The PxK Hiking Collection is set to release at Patta November 5th in store and online and will retail for €130,00 each.
Worldwide releasedate is November 12 and selected retailers include: Avenue, Brothers & Sisters, Colette, CNCPTS, Footpatrol, Hanon, Norse Store, Overkill, Pigalle and Sneakersnstuff.

Special Collaboration with PATTA in Amsterdam

PATTA Amsterdam is with it’s own stores and distribution one of the sneaker- and streetwear-institutions worldwide. The cooperation with PATTA is the ultimate crowning, because the “cool guys” from Amsterdam not only choose their partners precisely, but also just cooperating on the highest level within their genres. Collaborations are just execute selectively, the one with KangaROOS is one-of-a-kind. In this case PATTA decided a long-term cooperation for the first time to launch a product-development together. Always in focus of the USP of KangaROOS: “The Original Shoes with Pockets”.

For the second time, Clark Kent will spinning the decks at the Sneakerness Aftershowparty in Amsterdam.
Clark Kent is a hip hop DJ, record producer and music executive of Panamanian descent . His crew of DJs is called “The Supermen”, and his DJ moniker is derived from the name of Superman’s alter ego.
In 2010 Nike commissioned DJ Clark Kent to design a “Nike Five Boroughs AF1 Low” pack of special limited edition Nike Air Force 1 shoes and unveiled them at fully catered a block party in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood on Mercer Street outside the Nike ID store at 21 Mercer.

We would like to introduce our Sneakerness Amsterdam Media Partner Lacebag. Lacebag started as a small messageboard and over the years has grown to the largest Dutch online sneaker community. The community evolves around discussing sneakers, clothing and many other things. Popular is the What One’s Wearing section (or WIVAH) where users show off the shoes they’re wearing that day. The crowd is primarily Dutch although there’s also a core group of users from Germany, Poland, Australia, USA and France. Many members have developed offline friendships and hook-ups through Lacebag. The site also offers a marketplace where users can sell, buy or trade shoes and clothing. The frontpage brings a selection of sneaker related news and reports from sneaker related events. The Lacebag crew is a diverse group of guys in their twenties, all with different backgrounds but a common interest in footwear of all sorts.

During Sneakerness Lacebag will bring a salute to the city of Amsterdam with a special goodie for all Sneakerness visitors (numbers are limited!) So if you’re coming to Sneakerness, don’t forget to visit the Lacebag booth.

Sneaker Freaker Germany’s Busride from Cologne mainstation directly to the Sneakerness Amsterdam. 60 Euro for the trip, entry to the convention & aftershowparty Sneakerness in Amsterdam. Departure August 27th around 6 a.m. and back 24 hours later after the aftershowparty. So it’s going to be quite a hardcore-sneakernerd-trip. If you’re interested, mail to butterfahrt@sneakerfreaker.de until wednesday August 17th, there are around 50 seats available.
